UPDATES

Here are a few updates - probably in random order as that tends to be the way my mind works!

• This Thursday is the last day to send in $10 to World Vision/The Well.  We will total $$ on that day and send out checks on Friday.
• Don't forget a $5 book for the book exchange on our party/program day.  The book can be for a boy, girl, or either.  Please wrap it and label "boy", "girl", "either".
• We are supposed to receive our first Kroger Cares check for $320 and some change!  Thank you to all who have been using your card!  It's beginning to add up!
• Disappointing news in that we still have not received a check from Chick-Fil-A despite repeated attempts to get in touch with them.  They will not even give us an amount made.  Obviously, I will have trouble doing business with that particular location again!  We have heard that the one in Cool Springs is very good to work with and prompt in payment.
• We have had some good news in that our former church administrator is returning to FCC January 1st.  Jack Holloway was a big proponent of our playground, and he and I are discussing specific dates now for installation.  Our excavation work is going to be tricky with this miserable weather that we've been having lately.
• We have one confirmed case of hand, foot, and mouth virus in the nursery.  Symptoms are a rash and fever.  
• Handout is going home about how to deal with children and holiday stress!  I thought it might be good reading.  Look for it in your child's folder.
• The children are learning all about the "reason for the season" in chapel and getting ready for the Christmas program.  Make plans to attend; they are always cute!  Please have your child wear a white or red turtleneck, navy MDO t-shirt and jeans.
