FCC MDO would like to do their share to celebrate the giving spirit of the season. If you already participate in this type of giving at your church home, then please do not feel obligated. If, however, you do not have a church home or are a member of FCC then MDO is going to be involved in two projects for the next few weeks.
1. Canned/Boxed food collection for The Well in Spring Hill. The Well provides food supplies for those in need in the southern part of Williamson County. Our sister church WellSpring runs the food bank. MDO will collect canned and/or box goods beginning November 19 through December 10. There will be a box in the foyer to collect your donations.
2. Graceworks does a Manger Store every year. I have worked it several times, and it is an awesome program. Those in need of help with gifts for Christmas have the opportunity to shop at a much reduced cost for items that have been donated. MDO will collect new toys or gift items (gifts for teens or seniors are especially needed); send them unwrapped, and we will deliver them to Graceworks. I will need to check on the last date for collection but it will be around December 3rd, I believe.
