Originally from Leslie, MI, Deidra moved to the Nashville area 11 years ago to fulfill her passion of music. In addition to working at Shining Light, Deidra also teaches voice/piano lessons to students of all ages and enjoys forwarding the knowledge that was passed through her through years of education. Furthermore, Deidra also works with the children's ministry at Life Community Church in Nolensville, Tn. Not only does she have a Commercial Vocal Performance degree from Lansing Community College, she also is a proud graduate of Belmont University with a degree in Classical Vocal Performance. Her hobbies include songwriting, singing with her barbershop quartet Last Minute, and attending live concerts.
