I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer! I can't believe this gorgeous weather; it reminds me of fall!
Speaking of fall, we are gearing up for a great year of fun at Shining Light.
Here are some dates to put in your calendar:
August 18 & 19 will be our Teacher Inservice days as we prepare for the arrival of all the children.
August 20 & 21 will be our Meet the Teacher/Parent Meeting days. We have divided the morning up into two sessions.
9:15 - 10:15 - Walkers/Toddler 1/Toddler 2 - You will drop your child off in his/her classroom for the hour and then meet in the chapel room for a parent meeting.
10:30 - 11:30 - Preschool/Pre-K - You will drop your child off in his/her classroom for the hour and then meet in the chapel room for a parent meeting.
If you have two children in the different age groups and have never attended Shining Light before, please attend the FIRST session.
If you have two children in the different age groups and are returning to Shining Light, please attend your oldest child's session.
***Please make sure that you have forms filled out (medical, photo release, permission to pick-up, etc.) before you come on August 20 & 21. You can find these forms on our church website - click here. Look for "Students Currently Registered for Fall 2014". Having this already done will make that morning much easier and quicker!
