Ms. Shanika is now teaching our Toddler 1 class along with Ms. Larinda and Ms. Nancy on Mondays and Wednesdays. This frees up Ms. Jessica to now work four days in Special Education.
Ms. Shanika is married and has three children ages 3 to 8. She is originally from Michigan and is a fairly recent transplant to Franklin from there. We are very excited as Shanika has her B.S. in Nursing from Hampton University in Virginia, and we have already made use of those skills! Shanika also substitutes in Williamson County as a school nurse, so you may see her in some of your older children's schools.
Shanika is a member of Strong Tower Bible Church and enjoys cooking, reading, jogging and spending time with her family.
