Fall Parties and Costume Parade

Next Tuesday and Wednesday we will have our Fall Parties and Costume Parade.  The teachers should have notified you of what they need for the parties.  Obviously, the little guys in the Nursery won't do much in the way of "partying" and each of the class activities are determined by their age.  Nursery, it is completely optional whether you want your child in a costume or not.  

If the weather is pretty, we do a costume parade outside (exception is Nursery since some are still not walking well).  The children and teachers walk along the sidewalk getting treats along the way from our administrative/support staff.  They end their walk with a trip to the church offices for another treat up there. Hopefully, it will not rain!  If it does, we will do the parade inside and go from room to room. 

We ask that you please send your child in his/her costume.  If they want to change out of the costume, we ask that you have play clothes on underneath.  It is supposed to be chilly those days, so the extra layers will be a good thing!  Because we are a church and a preschool, we ask that you do not dress your child in any scary costume or one of a "devilish" nature (devil, witch, ghost, etc.).  This year you will see our teachers dressed up as storybook or Disney characters!
