Daily Scripture

In the same way, let your light shine in front of others. Then they will see the good things you do. And they will praise your Father who is in heaven.

FYI

FYI - Thanks for the response to our Sharing the Blessings of the Season project.  We are collecting $10 per family to be distributed to The Well in Spring Hill for Christmas gifts and to World Vision to help needy families purchase farm animals that they can use to help support their families.  We have asked for cash as we plan to send the money by the second week of December to The Well so that they have plenty of time to purchase gifts.  If you haven't sent in your $10, it's not too late.  We will continue collecting through the first week of December.

Also, remember that we will have a $5 book exchange in each of the classes (including nursery).  We will do the exchange at our Christmas parties on the 14th and 15th.

Make plans now to join us for our special Christmas Program on December 14th and 15th.  Ms. Maria has planned a special event for that morning.  The program will begin at approximately 9:30 and last about 45 minutes.  Classes will have their parties downstairs afterwards.  Check your folders or e-mails for specific details on parties per your child's class.

Tuition was due November 15th.  If you did not have a chance to pay before the break, please consider using PayPal on the right side of the blog.  After the 25th a late fee of $15 will be given, so the usage fee for PayPal is definitely less!

A huge THANK YOU to Jo Shewring who finalized our order for Scholastic this month.  When I last checked we had almost $700 of book orders.  WOW!  There is nothing easy about closing out an order through Scholastic, so Jo went over and above to get it down before the break.

We at MDO are thankful for:
the children who make us smile (and sometimes laugh) each day
 and are eager to learn
being able to watch the children bow their heads and pray in chapel and then sing at the top of their lungs
to listen to them say their Fruit of the Spirit and understand what love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control are (or at least most of the "fruits"!)
the parents who entrust their children to us
the parents who encourage us
We love our jobs; we love the children; we are blessed to work with you in the education and development of your child.

Thank you
Have a blessed Thanksgiving
