Dress appropriately for the outdoors; we are going to try and use the trees and creek area for a picture. Nursery pictures will be much simpler - just outside the doors. If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail me this weekend at mdo@franklinchristianchurch.com.
We managed a fire drill on Wednesday but didn't make it on Thursday, so we will reschedule that one for next Thursday, the 6th. The one on Wednesday went pretty smoothly; we were out the doors in less than three minutes, but we can do better than that, so we will probably try again. The children were great about it and followed directions which earned them some warm fuzzies.
What are warm fuzzies? Ms. Maria, Kellie, Kely, Kassie or Joni can give out warm fuzzies (i.e. colored pom-poms) anytime they see good behavior, following directions, being polite or cooperating outside the classroom. The warm fuzzies go in their class jar and will result in a class party of their choosing. Someone told me that Toddler 2 has picked out a pig cake(?) for their party! And no, not a "big" cake...a pig cake...with a pig...
