Send in $5 cash in your child's folder. You will receive a Kroger gift card worth $5. It will be labeled with FCC MDO on it. When you shop at Kroger, put money on your card first and then do your shopping. It does not work like a Kroger Cares card where you just show it at check out. You have to actually put money on it in order for us to get the credit.
If you want to do it at checkout, just ask them to put money on the card before they start ringing up your items.
So essentially, using a Kroger card involves just ONE step more than using your credit/debit card or check.
If we can get excellent participation from parents and each spends just $33 per month at Kroger, we can raise $200 per month for MDO. Spending $100 per month would obviously almost triple that amount! So even if you are not a Kroger shopper, if you could commit to buying produce or soft drinks or even dog food each month there, we could meet our goal!
Feel free to ask grandparents, aunts/uncles, cousins, etc. to buy and use one of the gift cards also. We will buy as many as we need!
