We will have two ongoing events that will bring a little money into our MDO coffers this year. One will be Kroger cards that we will explain at the beginning of the semester, and the other is collecting empty inkjet cartridges.
Please do not throw away your old ink cartridges when you remove them from your printer! Put them in a plastic baggie and bring them to MDO! Staples allows each teacher to turn in 10 per month and receive a $20 coupon voucher. This allows them to buy extra supplies of things that they would like for their classroom. One example is Ms. Kim and Ms. Jen's Pre-K class last year as they used their coupons to purchase Dr. Seuss stickers and visors for their class. Our teachers also love card stock paper for doing crafts, and at $16 per pack, a coupon voucher really helps!
There is a collection bin on the bookcase in the foyer, so drop them in anytime. We appreciate it!
