Daily Scripture

In the same way, let your light shine in front of others. Then they will see the good things you do. And they will praise your Father who is in heaven.

Reminders

Thank you so much for your cooperation with the car lane yesterday.  We appreciate your help in getting your child buckled in properly and safely.  This not only ensures your child's safety but also helps get you on your way in a speedier manner.  This also allows our teachers to have time to straighten their rooms before leaving for the day.  As we look to going four days next fall, we are trying some new ideas in order to make things go more smoothly.  Simply meeting us at the car and taking your child frees up valuable time for the teachers to go retrieve more children.  Again, THANKS!

A note will go home on Thursday if we do not have record of your child's registration fee.  If you receive one and feel this is in error, please contact me at mdo@franklinchristianchurch.com.  Unfortunately, we have had so many requests for Tuesday/Thursday placement that if we do not receive it by Spring Break, we will begin adding those on the waiting list to the rolls.

Thursday is Safari Day - notice is a little late - sorry!  Teachers may be more on top of it than I am!  If you have a safari hats, jackets, or tees, wear them tomorrow!  We will be finishing our safari animal theme.

NEXT WEEK - DR. SEUSS!

Last Thursday and today the children learned about Jesus feeding the five thousand with  a little boy's two fish and five loaves.  It was another example of a miracle.  Ask your child to sign "miracle" for you!  We are also memorizing Luke 2:52.  In addition the children are learning that there are two parts to the Bible - the Old Testament and the New Testament - with 39 books in the old and 27 books in the new!

Wednesday parents - we ran out of Scholastic catalogues for March.  I will order more today but you can find all the choices online at www.scholastic.com/bookclubs.  The Honeybee catalogue is geared to the younger ones; the Firefly is more for three to five year olds.  SeeSaw is for Pre-k and kindergarten.
