Please be sure and follow the sick policy in the FCC MDO handbook. We have so many different viruses going around right now, and we are on alert when it comes to checking temperatures and noticing cranky or lethargic behavior. We will call you if the temperature is over 100 degrees.
Our suspected case of chicken pox was not. It was a virus. My own daughter had it in December. It is a chicken pox-looking rash and it can be just about anywhere on the body. It even looks like little blisters and can be itchy. It is contagious as long as they are broken out in the rash.
I know January and February are crazy months with the weather and illness. We can't control the weather, but we can do our best to keep the germs down at MDO. We will keep the premises clean and sanitized and make good use of hand sanitizer with the children if you will help us out by following the policy! Thanks for your help in this!
