Daily Scripture

In the same way, let your light shine in front of others. Then they will see the good things you do. And they will praise your Father who is in heaven.

Miscellaneous Information

I know it was another snow day for us, but to be honest, it was a blessing in disguise for FCC MDO.  Many of our teachers have been hit with the same type of illness going around the school, so we would have had many out today if we had been in session.  Even some of our substitutes were sick!  Let's hope and pray everyone gets some rest and time to recover over the weekend.

We are planning to have our Valentine parties and Sock Hop on Tuesday, 15th, so if your teachers were planning to exchange cards with the children today, go ahead and plan on doing that.  Also, the teachers are planning to dress in 50's clothes, so if you would like, get out the poodle skirts and rolled up blue jeans!

Reminder that February Scholastic orders are due February 24th.  The January Scholastic order still had not arrived yesterday; it comes from Missouri, so I imagine it got caught up in all this snow mess.

Also, if you have only verbally told me that you want a spot for next year, I really, really need you to fill out a registration form.  You can get one on the church website, e-mail me, or get one from the downstairs foyer bookcase.  I would love to say that I have a terrific memory and can remember all the verbals and e-mails, but I just don't!  So please get those forms to me, so I have a visual!  The problem arises when a class is almost full, and I haven't remembered a verbal request.

We will try to do a make-up day for today; however, I will need to find approximately six substitutes that day because of other commitments.  I may have to get creative in order to do one, and I may just wait until I can count on the weather being pretty (or at least warm)!

And finally, remember to pack jackets next week.  We are going outside to play some if the weather will cooperate!  We have been cooped up for too long!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!
