FCC MDO

We are so blessed to have creative teachers at FCC MDO! Last Thursday Ms. Joyce and Ms. Maria shared a special Passover lesson with the Preschool and Pre-K classes. The children dressed in Bible times costumes and arrived in the chapel room to learn about the Passover meal, where it came from, and what it symbolized. Ms. Joyce even prepared sample items from a Passover meal for the children to taste. Ms. Maria led them in some special music and even a dance! I sat in on one of the sessions, and the children listened so attentively and enjoyed trying the meal items (i.e. boiled egg, spiced apples, grape juice, matzoh bread, etc.). This week Ms. Joyce will tie the Passover meal to the Last Supper leading up to our Easter lesson.
