We got hit hard yesterday with a stomach bug among our teachers (and believe that several children had it too including my own). FCC MDO is blessed, however, with some wonderful substitutes who jumped in and handled things so well. Even Ms. Maria, our music teacher, was ill! In addition Ms. Tonya and I had lost a dear friend suddenly and had a funeral to attend. So yesterday was just a little stressful, and we do apologize for canceling car lane at the last minute. In order for car lane to run smoothly and efficiently, it takes everyone being there and prompt especially when we have some parents bringing their children in also.
So for future reference - if you do NOT see the orange cones in the parking lot, you know that for some reason beyond our control, we cannot do car lane that day.
Please say a prayer for MDO this weekend that everyone will return next Tuesday healthy and well. We have several moms who are expecting, and some who have lost loved ones recently, so I would greatly appreciate you asking God to bless us and be with us.
