Fire Safety Day was great! Mr. Ronnie did a fantastic job explaining fire safety to the kids, and it seemed that they thoroughly enjoyed it. Only one meltdown after the fire drill, and I have to claim the child as my own! It figures...
We evacuated in two minutes which Mr. Ronnie said was fantastic. The children were calm and orderly and followed their teachers' instructions. And, of course, I was impressed with our teachers and how they great they were with everything.
It was a valuable learning tool for us. We made some notes after the drill of things that we need to do to be more prepared, and our teachers gave us valuable insight too. Without the drill there were just some things that we just wouldn't have thought about.
So I believe that we are more fully prepared in the event of an emergency, and if my child is any indication, they remembered what they were taught and had a lot of fun too!
