Please remember to park on the Clovercroft side in the mornings if you will be walking your child in and use the pedestrian bridge. This will help make car lane go smoothly!

Costume Parade and Fall Parties are October 28th and 29th. Please check your teacher email for your class details. Also kid friendly costumes only please.
Parking Lot: The church is having the parking lot patched and repaved. This will affect car lane however we are not sure what days this will take place. Please look for a Remind 101 in the mornings to see if car lane has been cancelled. If the cones are not out then you will also know that car lane is cancelled. I will try to give as much advance notice as I can. Thank you for your patience!

Thank you to all the families that collected items for Mrs. Katrina's Guatemala Mission trip. We were able to collect over 50 bags and $350!!

Just a reminder that Shining Light's hours of operation are 9 am to 2 pm. Children picked up after 2:10 pm are considered late. As stated in our parent handbook, if parents are continuously late a fee of $1 per minute will be applied. You will receive an email to let you know how much you will need to add to your tuition check.

- Our Field Trips are October 14th and 15th and we will leave the school promptly at 9:30 am. Please have your child in their room by 9:10 even if you are planning on driving them.
- Children need to be in closed toed shoes and their blue Shining Light t-shirts.
- Parents and children will need a brown bag lunch and a throw away drink.
- Please apply sunscreen to your child before school.
Fall Parties will be October 28th and 29th. We will have our Costume Parade on that day too. Kid Friendly costumes only please.

Car Lane will begin on Monday October 5th at 9:00 am. Please check your child's folder or your parent handbook for directions. We ask that you leave your child buckled in their seat, if you can help it please do not be on your cell phone, and if you are walking your child in please park in the lot off of Clovercroft.
Spoiled Rotten Photography Portraits should have been emailed to you this week. Orders are due by October 7.

Our toddler 2 teacher Mrs. Katrina will be going to Guatemala for a mission trip. We will be collecting items for her to take gift bags with her. The information should have been in your weekly email and a flyer was sent home this week. The class that collects the most items will win a pizza party.

Shining Light News
