Don't forget that our delayed Valentine Sock Hop is tomorrow, February 19th!

Make-up day for Monday is on Friday, February 21st.  We will be unable to have car lane that day as our Youth at FCC will be attending a conference. They are scheduled to leave out of our parking lot at 9:00 AM, so there will be quite a few teens, parents and a large shuttle that would hinder our efforts to do car lane.

WILLIAMSON CO. SCHOOLS GOING TWO HOURS LATE THURSDAY

Wms. Co. schools are going two hours late Thursday, February 13th.  Shining Light will begin at 11:00.  We will still have our Valentine Party and Sock Hop today!  No car lane.  ~Thanks

No Shining Light 2/12/14

Williamson Co. Schools closed 2/12/14 due to threat of inclement weather.  There will be no Shining Light today.  Teachers will e-mail about rescheduling Valentine Sock Hop.

Unbelievable!

Absolutely unbelievable!

I have always felt that we have the best preschool teachers in Williamson County along with the best families of preschoolers!  This week blew me away though - you all contributed 1,024 cans to Graceworks!  I called them this afternoon to tell them to expect a large donation, but I never expected this.  By the way, they are thrilled and grateful that we are bringing them so much.

From what I understand, the competition got just a little fierce among some of our classes.  Just shows what some will do for a pizza party! Congratulations to Ms. Pam and Ms. Laurel's Preschool 1 class for coming in first place on Mon/Wed.  Ms. Hadley and Ms. Marlaina's Preschool 2 class took the top honor for Tues/Thurs.

The biggest prize though will be the families that will be blessed by your generosity this winter.  Thanks Shining Light!

Shining Light Delayed Two Hours Monday 2/3

Williamson County has delayed schools two hours today, Monday, February 3rd.  Shining Light will begin at 11:00 AM and end at 2:00 PM today.  There will be no car lane so that we can begin our day promptly at 11:00 AM.  Please also pack a lunch for your child.

Canned food drive 

February 3 - 6

In conjunction with our Stone Soup Days next week, we are going to do a food drive to benefit the food pantry at Graceworks here in Franklin.  With the temps so cold these days, I'm sure that some are having trouble putting food on the table when so much of their money is being spent on heating costs.

So we will be collecting canned and boxed food all next week.  Bring your food items to your child's classroom.  There will be a collection box for each set of days.  The classroom that collects the most will earn a pizza party day!

So the next time you are at the grocery store this week, pick up a few items to bring in February 3-6!

DONUTS WITH DAD TOMORROW

Don't forget Donuts with Dad tomorrow at 9:00 AM for Tues/Thurs children.  No car lane, so you can park in the front lot.  Dads and Children, wear your favorite sports jersey!

**If it should actually snow tonight and we start late, we will still have Donuts with Dad!
One hour late - 10:00 AM
Two hours late - 11:00 AM (let's hope we don't have donuts for lunch...)

**If schools should actually be called off, DWD will be rescheduled for Thursday morning.
